Years ago, hospices told us their biggest funding challenge: whilst corporate funders support high-profile projects, essential items like mortuary equipment, bedpans and sluices are almost impossible to fund. Nobody wants their name in a sluice room.

That’s why we prioritise funding the unglamorous but vital things that keep hospices running. We fill the gaps that other funders won’t.

“Our bereavement team was delighted to receive a grant from Hospice Aid which allowed us to continue to support the Rye Harbour Wildlife and Bereavement Project. It was immensely beneficial for those who are struggling with grief after bereavement.

Thank you so much for this generous support! It means the world to us that we can continue this work.”
