Butterfly landing on a flower

A Will is your gift to the people and causes that were important to you during your life. It is also the only way to make sure that your wishes are carried out after your death. Despite this, two-thirds of the population don’t make a Will.

Without a Will your loved ones and favourite charities are not guaranteed your estate. Even if you are married, living with your partner or have children, it is wrong to assume that they will automatically receive your estate should you die. A Will lets you leave clear guidance, saving your grieving loved ones from having to sort things out themselves.

Remembering Hospice Aid UK in your Will is an excellent way to support our grant funding for Hospices in the UK. Charitable legacies are exempt from Inheritance Tax so your full gift will help guarantee the comfort and care of patients in hospices. If you don’t have a Will, a sensible first step is to consult your solicitor or Citizen’s Advice Bureau.

Gifts in Memoriam
If you have lost a friend or relative, a donation to Hospice Aid UK is a way of paying tribute to their memory and offers a meaningful alternative to flowers. Funeral Directors will often be happy to help by collecting donations for you but you can send them directly to us if you prefer.  We would be extremely grateful to receive the proceeds of your collection.

Without the money we receive from legacies, Hospice Aid UK would be able to help far fewer Hospices across the UK. Your gift will be vital in improving the lives of thousands of people.

For details on leaving Hospice Aid UK a legacy in your will please consult your solicitor or contact us at 0845 606 0510 /  info@hospiceaid.org.uk.
